Good morning!

Hello all!
Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was great-WICKED was terrific!  AND.... my SD gave me a hug all on her own (which is  a feat in itself!)

Now, for a long week ahead...

Re: Good morning!

  • Good morning!

I'm ready for Friday already....that's telling you what kind of Monday at work I'm having.  Ugh!

My weekend was ok, nothing too exciting.  Got together with some friends, hung out at home.

  • Hi Lore! Thats awesome about the SD! I havent seen wicked yet. But I havent read the book either, so im not missing it.

My weekend was fine. We went out to eat with MIL on friday night. Saturday I had to get up early and frost a cake for my sister to pick up for her DH's bday, then I went to work.

Sunday I just did stuff around the house.Nothing to crazy!

  • Mornin' gals!

My weekend, like everyone's, went by way too fast!

Friday we just hung out around the house because M had to work the next day.

Saturday I got my hair trimmed, came out correctly for once, I "borrowed" my niece for a little while while M was at work.  That night we went with my cousin (because everyone else that was supposed to go, bailed) to TGIF's and I drank my happy big ass off.  2 Long Island Iced Teas and 2 Margarita/Martini thingys (I know in my previous post I said it was a total of 3 drinks but I remembered it was actually 4) and I was toast for the rest of the night.

Yesterday M and I slept in way late, we didn't get out of bed until 11:30am.  I really don't like doing that because it wastes the day.  Once we got ourselves together we went out for a bit, M got a haircut, new work boots (the ones he had were stanky as hell), went to lunch at the Longhorn and went home, we didn't have a lot of time to do stuff really because of our sleeping in (everything closes early on Sundays).

Now here it is Monday again and I'm already wishing it were Friday.

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE Wicked!!!!  I am so happy when ever anyone goes to see it!  Agent- you can see it independently of the book, it is based on the book, but much, much funnier.  The book is pretty dark, I love it, but the play is lighter.

What a great weekend all in all.

  • My weekend was ok.  VERY relaxing, I honestly watched football ALL weekend and did a few chores in between.  On Sunday night hubby and I went out to eat and then say The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.  Not my type of movie at all BUT hubby liked it.

  • I'm glad you enjoyed Wicked, Lori!! And glad you got your drink on, Sheri! (so jealous!!)

My weekend was slow, though I did manage to get a few things off my to-do list. I even finished a crochet project and started a new one! We'll see how much of it I can do before Lovebug gets here...

  • Oh, yeah, and I made a FABULOUS carrot cake!! So yummy!!
  • W/E was pretty good. Some what eventful...

Friday- DH was home sick and so we didn't do much.

Saturday- We took DH's Gran to Tupelo to check Pharmacy prices for her meds for the ALS. DH really didn't need to be out. When we got home I gave DH more stuff for his cold and went to wash some clothes.(Here's where it gets somewaht eventful) In the middle of a load my washer stops and throws the breaker. And since it was in the middle of a load I didn't think it just all of a sudden froze up, but I was hoping. So I load up all our clothes I had been saving to wash this week end and head down to the my very first Laundrymat experience. I was cool, 5 loads going at a time!! So I washed, dried and folded all the clothes, even got DH's Carhartt washed. Picked up a pizza on the way home and sat with my sick DH till we went to bed.

Sunday- We get up late and are rushing to get in the shower and get ready when DH comes to me and says 'Our hot water is frozen' So we load up our clothes and head to G's. We get ready and are eating breakfast with G and DH relizes that this is his sunday to drive the bus... it's 30mins till church starts... So he rushes home and gets his keys then gets to church and the church bus will not warm up fast enough so he borrows G's SUV to pick up the the only 2 people riding the bus. He thankfully made to church with 5 mins to spare. I can't even imagine what that little old lady he picks up was thinking about his driving....lol

My washer still doesn't work even after the hot water un froze... SO I'm guessing it's a gonner...Indifferent

  • Friday night DH, me and my son went to Border Cafe for dinner.  Super yummy :-)  I got my chips and salsa fix.

Saturday - Grocery shopped, got the car washed and painted the foyer.  Then one of my girlfriends came over and we drank and played scrabble.  I seriously hadn't drank that much in a very looooong time and am still paying for it today.

Sunday - slept in a bit.  Played board games with my son and then took him to KFC (his pick) for dinner.  Also ran to Kohls and scored some cute decor items for the house.

  • Mine was ok - less stressful than I thought it would be (my last interview is this afternoon, which I'm sure you all already know, since I've been moaning and biitching about this job for weeks).

Friday: we hit the gym, ordered in some yummy, unhealthy Italian comfort food, watched a movie, and crashed at 10:30.

Saturday: I had an appointment to get my new contacts checked in the morning, so we did that, ran a few errands, and then tried to relax. It wasn't happening, so I dragged N back to the gym to work off some stress.

Sunday: We got up and went for a bike ride at the beach, which was nice, but my legs are killing me because we worked out 7 of the past 8 days, and we didn't hit the gym over the holidays, so I'm not used to it anymore. After our bike ride, we did a major apartment cleaning, which felt really good, watched a little football, and did our grocery shopping.

I am SUPER ready for this next weekend, because my mom and twin sister are coming down from WA, and then the 3 of us and my little sis (who lives near me) are going to Santa Barbara for the weekend to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday! And Mom's name is Barbara, and she is practically a saint, so I think our location choice is perfect!

  • Morning! I'm back to work, it sucks a lot.

  • Hey ladies. I know it's not morning, but this is my 1st chance to the internet all day....sigh.

This weekend was good. Super lazy!!!

Friday DH and I stayed up playing games.

Saturday I slept in super later. DH and I gamed again, went out to lunch with friends, and made an awesome brinner (breakfast for dinner for those that don't watch scrubs).

Sunday We cleaned up a bit and hung out.

    Weekend went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast!
