October 2009 Weddings
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
For those of you who subscribe to a lot of blogs...how do you read them?
I know you can view sites you subscribe to through a blogspot account but I personally find that system difficult to navigate. Is there another reader that makes this easier?
Re: reading blogs..
I have them all bookmarked in my internet browser. Makes life pretty simple... except that you can't see if it's been updated or not unless you actually go to the blog.
I actually find the "blogs I'm following" feature on the blogger dashboard to be really simple to use. I just click on All Blog Updates and then go down the list, when I click on them they open into a new window, and I just close out when I'm done reading the new post. But I can see how it's not for everyone, I'm starting to follow so many blogs that I have a ton of new posts everyday!
I can see how that would be really annoying. Sorry I'm not more help!

I use Google's RSS Feed Reader. I love it, it's so simple. You can categorize your blogs and it updates automatically (no refreshing or anything!) If you have gmail, when you are on the main inbox page, there is a row of links on the upper left hand corner, the fourth one over (after Gmail, Calendar and Documents) is Reader. Just click that and it'll get you set up.
I use blogspot, but not the reader. I keep a list of all the blogs I read/follow in my own blog, sorted by latest update. That way I can just go to my blog (signed in or not), see the updates from there, and just click on what I want to read.
I use a different email address for my knot, wedding, blog, etc. stuff too so I know what a pain it is to have to sign in and out. I noticed you have a blog in your siggy, so maybe that could work for you.
