Good morning! I am excited for this week, the weatherman says that it's supposed to be above zero! No. Way. I love it!
It's a simple week, nothing fancy. Here's what we've got planned:
Monday: Beef dip w/ au jus and sweet potato fries;
Tuesday: Brunch Enchiladas w/ fruit;
Wednesday: Leftovers;
Thursday: Spaghetti and meatsauce;
Friday: Leftovers.
Total cost for dinners this week = $56.05
Re: Menus
What kind of beef do you use for your beef dip? I have only ever had it once and that was at Nat's so I have no idea what she used.
We didn't get the grocery store flyers this week and so I looked at some of them online. Nothing really seemed to be on sale so I have no idea what we will be making.
We have a yummy apple butter pork tenderloin in the freezer that we will probably use up.
I just use deli roast beef (not the "loaf" but the for realzies sliced roast). I think it was $7 for 300 grams. I heat it up in the au jus before I put it on the buns.
:::drool::: apple butter pork tenderloin......yum.
I've got one for the first time! We're attempting to be healthy.
Monday: fish, rice, veggies
Tuesday: pasta with ground turkey
Wednesday: Spicy Beans & Rice (slow cooker recipe)
Thursday: chicken caesar salad
Friday: leftovers
Saturday: chicken stir-fry
This sounds so good!
So it would work if I had leftover roast beef then?
Oh yeh, it'll be so good!
