Re: Weekend updates!!!!
it was very productive!
we packed away all the christmas stuff (except for the outside lights, TJ's family are all coming this weekend and he wanted to leave them up), TJ painted the nursery, i put together the dresser for the nursery, did lots of shopping at target for things our house needed and basically kept cleaning, organizing, painting and fixing stuff.
went out to watch the eagles/cowboys game at our favorite philly bar....but since TJ is a cowboys fan, he gets lots of crap. but some of the regulars had saved me a chair in the back so i could sit - so sweet! (but they made me wear an eagles shirt for a quarter - LOL)
yesterday, church, hung with the family a little bit and more housework with football on in the background.
getting the house ready for TJ's family to all come on friday! my shower is this weekend! woo hoo!!
Friday we just hung out at home.
Saturday we went to the gym, had lunch at home and then ran errands. We returned a huge George Foreman Grill to Kohl's and ended up with enough credit to buy Lewis and me BOTH a new pair of running shoes. yay! Also got some insoles for mine.
Sat night we went over to DH's brother's house. We are visiting them once a month to try to repair that relationship slowly....It was fun. We watched the Cowboys game and had dinner. Dinner was very rich and gave DH the worst.gas.EVER. It literaly woke me up later that night when he farted in bed. YUCK.
Sunday was church and hanging around the house.
~~~MARRIED BIO~~~
Weekend was good.
Friday night Steve and I went and picked out our floors for the new house (tile in the master bath, carpet throughout the house, laminate for the kitchen/sunroom, and 2 other bathrooms). Then we had dinner at Cracker Barrel (yum!)
Saturday - we went to pick up our kitchen table (yay!), we ran by the model to make a change to our house and got the scoop on when construction will start, went to the mall to test out the select comfort beds cause they were having an awesome sale, then home and laying around for the rest of the night
Sunday - MIL and I went to buy the bed Steve and I wanted, Steve left for NC again to do some more work, and I figured out how to work my scanner and I had a major blast from the past last night going through old pictures, scanning them, and putting them on FB
I dont feel like I had a weekend.
Friday - I did some shopping
Saturday - worked half a day then went house hunting the rest.
Sunday - laundry, went to some thrift stores, drove by more houses, cooked dinners for 3 days this week.
Friday- Went and pick out paint color for our living room
Saturday- Painted all day
Sunday- did nothing Dh is really sick so we were lazy!
sat, he left for his wrestling tournament nice and early. I lounged. One of my bffs came over to see the house then we met up with everyone else for a bar crawl. which was very fun. and i dont remember half of it lol. Allllso, another of my bffs asked me to be a bridesmaid for her wedding next spring.. its a destination wedding. Sounds like she's picking st. Thomas! Super excited for her and the trip!
sunday, tj was gone all day with working in the am then the rest of the tournament. And I was really hurting from the crawl. so it was me and couch just about all day!
Friday - hung out with friends after spin class. We hopped around because the wait for dinner was 1.5 hours! We had appetizers at a gastropub, yummy strawberry cider for me. Then we walked back for yummy mexican food. Chocolate-chile creme brulee was out of this world...a little spice with a little salt on top. OMG...it was fantastic.
Sat - Hung out with cousins for a birthday party, drank lots of wine (3 bottles!), discovered tomato pesto...and I'm in love with in it now. Watched a movie with the cousins (they are an older married couple with 2 adorable boys). They have really raised them to be good kids, we totally see ourselves raising them similar. Hubby got sick, had to help him drive home while he blew his nose. It was kinda funny.
Sun - Hung out at home, laundry and groceries. Hubby watched football. We watched Fraility...strange movie with Matthew McConaughey, but still a thriller. Took a wonderful bubble bath and we ordered pizza and wings for dinner. Lazy sunday's are the best.
