  • We haven't gotten ours yet but our friends went up around $100. I know it was way cold and they have electric heat but I'm hoping ours isn't killer.....*crossing fingers*

  • We haven't gotten ours yet and I'm nauseated just thinking about it...

  • Ours went up to about $150 and it was usually $120 or $130.  Don't know how much of that was due to the freezing cold and me constantly jacking up the heat...It was better than I had expected!
  • Got my bill and it didn't change much at all... however it was cold so people with electric heat would see an increase in raising the heat.

The bill that we should have all gotten shouldn't have the new charges on it but for a few days.  the new billing just started on Jan 1st or 4th, something like that.  My bill was only until Jan 8th so that is only a few days on the new billing cycle.

We just switched to another company which is guaranteed to be at least 10% less than PPL so we'll see :)

  • I'm not sure if it went up or not, but our bill this month is $500.00. I believe that it was something like that last year though.(We have electric baseboard heat)

We just switched to a different provider and that new rate should start in 6-8 weeks. I would definitely suggest looking into it.

  • We are on a budget plan from PPL so we won't find out what happened for another 2 months.... yikes!
