York nesties--need recommendations
I'm trying to find a venue for a relatively cheap bridal shower. Any suggestions?

I will try and help the best I can, but they had my bridal shower at my maid of honors house! That is always an option and to have the bridal party ladies all chip in and bring some food...
Otherwise, I would suggest maybe a fire hall. There are several- we had our reception at the Shiloh Fire Company, and they can divide it into a smaller room or one large room. Very reasonable and easy to work with. I believe Dallastown also rents as does York Township. It just depends what area of York you would like to host. Thats an option, or you could contact one of the townships and rent one of the rooms. If memory serves correctly, I think York Township you can rent, and possibly even Manchester Township.
A friend had theirs at the Great American Saloon in Red Lion, however I do not know what the cost was. You could always look into some restaurants in the area. We had our rehearsal dinner at Logans and just had them reserve the back room there for us.. a lot of restaurants will do that for you and no extra charge to do so, I would think as long as you ordered food. There is a tea room in Thomasville near the airport, and I think there is one in Hellam also.
