Who keeps the GL reading list?

DH and I are starting to read more instead of watching TV, and DH is in love with the E-Reader he got for his raise.  So I need a new book to keep up.  Who has the Green Living reading list? TIA!

Re: Who keeps the GL reading list?

  • Did we ever really get one going?

Has he read Plenty and Animal, Vegetable, Miracle? I love both of these. I would say AMV has a broader appeal and is better reading.

    Are you guys on goodreads?

EF/Green books on my to-read list that I'm really looking forward to:

Farewell My Subaru: An Epic Adventure in Local Living

Blue Gold: The Fight to Stop the Corporate Theft of the World's Water and then Blue Covenant: The Global Water Crisis and the Coming Battle for the Right to Water

Green Plans: Blueprint for a Sustainable Earth

Harvest for Hope: A Guide to Mindful Eating (by Jane Goodall!)

    The World Without Us

The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less

    The High Price of Materialism

No Logo: No Space, No Choice, No Jobs

Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future

  • I love both of Ed Begley Jr.'s books.
  • I have a good one for you since I see that you're now on the TTC train.

    Having Faith by Sandra Steingraber.

Read this book!  You will LOVE it.

This is what I was thinking of! Thanks GRK!

We've both read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and liked it.  I just finished The Omnivore's Dilema for the second time and remembered how great it is.  I think I'll try Plenty next.  Thanks!
