I love, love, love lots of lashes. I currently use Voluminous and have for a few years. Thinking there might be something new I'm missing out on. Which brand do you ladies love and why?

I've only tried Loreal mascara. I can't say that I love it, but I've been too lazy to try anything else.

Imju Fiberwig is a pretty cool mascara. I love how it doesn't flake off but is still easy to wash off at night. Lately I've been using and loving Max Factor's Volume Couture mascara. It's cheaper than Fiberwig but gives me comparable length and volume. I heard that MF was being discontinued in the US though, so I've stocked up on a few extra until I find the next great mascara. Stick out tongue

I have never, ever found a better mascara brand than good old Maybelline. I like the classic Great Lash, or the "Full and Soft." I have tried Clinique, Lancome, and Benefit, amongst others, and have never liked anything better. My mascara is the cheapest thing in my makeup bag!

I use two:

Estee Lauder High Definition Volume mascara for the first coat. It makes my lashes longer.

Cover Girl LashBlast Volume Blasting Waterproof mascara for the 2nd and third coats.

I have really stick straight lashes, so the combo of these allow my lashes to hold the curl, and look longer and voluminous.

Cover Girl Lash Blast. I buy a lot of pricey makeup, but no mascara has ever convinced me it's worth the extra $$. So I stick to the Cover Girl and buy the shadows, powder, etc at higher prices.

I don't know if any other locals find this to be true but ever since I moved to Hawaii, I find that my mascara goes bad fairly quickly. I pick a new tube up every other month so I stick to whatever I can find at the drugstore. The one I love at the moment is Maybelline Volume Express. Since it's humid here, I buy the waterproof version. I have a bad history of raccoon eyes, no matter how little mascara I apply or how much powder is under my eyes.

For the last year or so I've been using L'Oreal's Double Extend Beauty Tubes - I love love love not having to use makeup remover or anything special to take off my mascara, and the mascara itself is great (soft, doesn't clump, etc.).

Anything MAC - but I especially like Pro Longlash and Zoom Lash. But I just learned a new trick and that is to use TWO mascaras. I use Clinique Pretty Long Lashes to get length, but then the lashes are on the thin side. So then I top them off using a volume MAC mascara and boom! looks like I'm wearing false lashes. A little more time but exceptional results.

This is my absolute favorite.......when I feel like splurging. BUT.....you might find this crazy but I only like it when its in the sample size. The big version of it is different to me in some sorta way. I LOVE Lancome's sample sizes. But since times are tougher, I have grown a love for Maybelline Define a Lash. It makes my eyelashes super long.
