surprise when unpacking some of the "stuff" in basement
I went through some of the boxes my parents sent me from out West.
I had a set of 12 Noritake Blue Hill fine china, it was my grandma's from her 25th wedding anniversary!!!! (12 each of dinner plates, bread plates, salad plates, dessert bowls, tea cups, saucers, 1 creamer, 1 sugar bowl, and 3 serving dishes!)
We did not have fine china so this is awesome, and the pattern is surprisingly nice and DH likes it too. woohoo! and BONUS our basement has 2 less boxes in it, because the china went into the china cabinet!

Ditto this. What an awesome score.
My parents shipped me a bunch of stuff (mostly furniture) but also a few boxes, 2 years ago when they packed up my grandma's condo. I had opened the boxes but the top of the one I opened had ugly juice glasses in it. Anyways the boxes stayed sealed up until this weekend when I went through it all! I did also find an entire box of pink crystal wine glasses+ martini glasses LOL. I am not keeping those!!
awesome find!!!!
Unlike you I think the pink wine glasses sound awesome, if you decide to sell them on ebay or craigslist keep me posted, I just may be interested
