Bank of America home loans are jerks
I called to streamline our mortgage back in November...
Got the application signed all the 131290381 pages, photocopied for my records, sent it in earlier than the requested date, tried to reach the loan officer several times with no success, was denied approval, finally got ahold of the loan officer about 2 weeks later, she said it was "accidently denied" but the week we were denied FHA passed a new rule that requires a home appraisal at the cost of the applicant but they would pay for it since it was their fault. If my house isn't appraised for the same or higher as our original appraisal we wont be approved for the loan. If they wouldn't have accidently denied us before we just would have gotten the streamline mortgage and that was it. Now we have to wait for an appraiser to come out and i'm scared bc we have 2 forclosures next door that might ruin it for us. Either way, we get the new application, sign all 123901283098 papers, i send it in their prepaid envelope a week before its due to them...mailwoman knocks on our door 5 days later and says "not enough postage but give me $2.30 and I will have it sent out once again." I call and email the 5 different people on our loan case to make them aware, email them a copy of the whole application pdf'd and wait... got a call last week from one of them, still no word on my application.
AARRRGHHHH. I'm so frustrated with these people but if we do get approved and the appraisal goes well we will save $200/month on our mortgage. I knew I should have just thrown away their stupid prepaid envelope and went to the post office to get a confirmation delivery. We're not almost halfway through January and i'm still waiting on something that was supposed to get done in November! If things dont work out this time I'm just going to another mortgage company and i'll pay for the damn appraisal. VENT OVER.

I just finally got an email back from one of the 5 contacts on our loan papers... yeah they received our paperwork finally but now they have added yet ANOTHER contact to the list. And the person who responded back said "Holly is assigned your file for the moment" FOR THE MOMENT?! what the heck does that mean?
I've never been so confused in my life lol. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well and we just get the damn approval and i can move on with my life instead of harrassing these people every week or so.
