Hey when you went to Playa Del Carmen what hotel did you stay at?

We stayed at the Iberostar Tucan. Are you looking to go? I would go with pretty much any resort located in Playacar. When you look at their locations it will say that specifically. Basically it's like a large gated community with a ton of resorts, so it's much safer and you can leave the resort on your own and not be in sketchy Mexico :-P There are little places to walk to to shop in Playacar.
My parents are actually going back next week, but they are staying at a different place. I'll ask my mom where and let you know how they liked it after they come back. The Iberostar was great though, but I don't think they are the cheapest. We had looked into going last fall and there were a good amount cheaper than them.
