Mine: Pop (a little too much), classic rock, 60?s, 80?s. My favorites are Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Alice Smith, Pearl Jam, Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera.
His: Hard core metal, rock. Jordan?s favorites are Opeth, Mastadon, Pinback, Elliott Smith. Music is his life actually. He has an 80G Ipod that?s full and mine is a 2G lol.
Shared: Pearl Jam, The Beatles, Pinback, 60?s tunes, Nirvana.

Shared: rock, rap, and jazz. years ago i told him i wouldn't continue dating him if he didn't like Frank Sinatra. Luckily we enjoy most of the same music but in general I listen to a wider variety and he listens to more rap
Mine: I listen to a lot of country (you either love it or hate it) I also love classic rock (Tom Petty, Led Zepplin, Neil Young) That's what my dad listens to so I grew up listening to it. I also like some jazz, I can do classical if it's not for a long period of time. If the mood hits me I listen to rap & hip hop or even some pop. I pretty much listen to everything except alternative or "death metal"
DH: He'll listen to country and he likes classic rock. He also listens to alternative and some heavier stuff

Mine: almost anything. Rock, punk, R&B, Folk, Jazz, alternative, blues, again just about anything.
His: Pop, Alternative, some rock, big band.
Shared: We started dating over big band and swing music when he was teaching me how to swing dance, so that's one thing. He's starting to like more rock and punk because of me and blames it on me as well. Other than that, we tolerate each others music when necessary.
Mine: I mostly listen to rock/alternative. Sometimes I'll listen to Pop and at work I mostly listen to the Oldies station (Jason hates oldies except for Pink Floyd/The Doors/Beatles).
DH: Rock/Alternative, his favorite band is Nine Inch Nails and he has every song. I'd say over 50% of his IPod are NIN songs.
Shared: We mostly listen to the same music, it's one of the few things we have in common. Examples are NIN, Muse, Linkin Park, Incubus, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Marilyn Manson (don't judge!), System of A Down, and Weezer.

Rob and I listen to everything and I mean everything. He was quite surprised when he went through my Itunes library and saw what all I had on there.
I also love Beach Music (no, not the Beach Boys) and it is something I typically listen to on Sunday afternoons during the summer.

Mine: I'm rooted in jazz standards and alternative from the 90's- weezer, no doubt and a lot of what Mrs G listed- for workouts I love stuff that's heavy (when I do cross fit I love system, Rage, linkin park and jayz) and when running I love some r&b- prince, ect..
DH: old school hiphop- think sugarhill gang, lounge music- ie: crooners such as elvis and the like the stones, bon jovi
Shared: earth wind and fire, u2..and a lot in between..
My music: Classic Rock/ Southern Rock (Tom Petty, Zeppelin, Fleetwood, Doors, Bob Marley, CSNY, etc). I love old skool too (2 Live Crew, NWA, Club Nuveau, etc.). And I'm finally digging some new music over the past few years (Justin T, Fergie, Pink). I've always been a fan of oldies...do whap oldies. I also love some GD & Phish...and blue grass.
Him: Freakin' country
Shared: Classic rock/ Southern Rock - we see Tom Petty every year (except last year he didn't tour), AC/DC, Susan Tedeschi, Zeppelin, Traveling Wilburys (WE LOVE THEM!!!!!!), and Frank Sinatra (makes us want to go back to Vegas)

My music: I love music so my list could go on forever. My all time favorite is U2. But, I happily listen to almost anything else at any time. Love Harry Connick, Jr., rock from the 70s...The only things I don't like are heavy HEAVY metal and hardcore rap.
Him: He likes rap more than anything, but also enjoys Linkin Park, Staind, Kings of Leon, Daughtry...
Shared: We like a lot of the same music. He doesn't share my passion for Harry, but, most of what I listen to, he's happy to listen to. Pearl Jam, David Cook, etc...
