Conan vs. Leno
Hey all,
For those of you following the Conan/Leno drama, what are your thoughts? This was/is being discussed on the Entertainment board, but i'd like to hear what you all think, too.
Personally, I feel bad for Conan, and thinks he should keep his current position. Leno has waivering issues... choosing to retire... choosing to do the prime-time show... While I"m sorry his career didn't go out with a bang, I put him in the Brett Favre category: No "take-backs."

I was just reading his letter to "People of Earth". I'm 100% Team Conan and believe NBC is placing the negative consequence of their decision on the wrong guy. IMO, Leno isn't funny, and it was time for him to go. Besides, I'll always be true to Conan after he thrust his pelvis in my face during the meet and greet of the show I went to.
What I like about his letter is that he doesn't get personal - he makes it about the Tonight Show. He could have gone on about how he moved his family across the country, or how he deserves better, or what not, but he keeps it to the simple truths. *applauds*
I haven't read the letter yet but I will. I have to say I thought that this whole prime time Leno thing would fail from the beginning and I feel bad that Conan's opportunity is being taking away because of the networks mistake. I have always found Conan to be the better entertainer and I am upset that he's basically being screwed.
BAHAHAHA! Love it.... I love Conan, hands down.
