indoor e-pics

Can you recommend a good indoor location for e-pics?

TIA

Re: indoor e-pics

  • Do you have a feeling you want them to have? We got married at the Hilton and there are tons of little nooks and crannies that make good pictures. Plus it is free.
  • If you can afford it (they charge a pretty hefty fee), pictures inside the Cincinnati Art Museum are the most beautiful that I have seen.

    Other (free) locations:

    • Cincinnati Museum Center Rotunda (I think I have some PIB but I haven't looked in awhile so let me know and I can email some to you)
    • Contemporary Art Center Lobby
    • UC Buildings - Von Wormer Library (engagement pics in bio)

Not sure if Krohn Conservatory is free but that would also be pretty.  Ask your photographer for ideas - that's partly why you pay them the big bucks!

I was going to suggest The Art Museam and Krohn Conservatory

Music hall is really nice and have some nice areas you could take pictures in...how about a bar (that you could go to during the day when not busy or closed) that has a really cool atmosphere? Not sure if you are sports fans, but you could do them at one of the stadiums inside (they all have some cool rooms with nice views, etc.).image

  • I'm pretty sure Krohn also charges a hefty fee.  The Gwen Mooney funeral home next to Spring Grove allows wedding photos at no charge and I'm sure they'd be ok with epics.  The place looks like an old English mansion, not like a funeral home!

  • Is there an indoor location that has some meaning for your relationship? Like a bar you met for happy hour (Arnold's downtown has a great bar, a restaurant to shoot, AND an indoor patio with a porch), or do you guys love to browse bookstores together? (I'm thinking Joseph-Beth in Rookwood, or even the Library would have some awesome photos for pics 'between the stacks').

I think it's more important that you pick something that has meaning for you than the fee they charge.

  • We did part of ours at a bar and loved them. We also loved the hotels downtown.
