  • Morning last night sucked since we had some issues come up at work so I was here until 7:30 last night blah! I was so tired when I got home and had a bagel for dinner then crashed early.

I'm hoping they can get the issues resolved today because I am suppose to meet some friends for dinner tonight and I dont want to miss it! My friend just engaged so I'm dying to hear about it! :(

  • I've had a rough couple of days...well, nights.  Sarah has decided
that sleeping at night isn't really her thing anymore so I had about 4
hours sleep between Saturday night and Sunday night.  Finally last
night I got her down (after 30 minutes of screaming and crying "mama
rock" - meaning she wanted me to rock her to sleep) at about 8:30 and
she slept until 5:15.  Not perfect but it gave me 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep (I <3 ambien!).  Hopefully tonight will be good too.

Just work today then hanging out with the family tonight.  Hopefully
C will get home at a decent hour tonight.  We've got some Tivo to
catch up on so that will be fun.  I can't wait to see last night's
    Castle!

Hope everyone has a great day!

  • Morning. Yesterday was hectic. L's 12 month appt went well. He is 19lbs and 28.5 inches. I talked with the doc about my concerns. He thinks everything is fine but wants to see him back at 15 mos rather than 18 to monitor his growth. I realized after I got home that there was bloodwork ordered so I have to go back for that today.
After that I stopped off At Wal-Mart and then headed home. Ok so here's the full Wal-Mart story: this woman came up to me right next to my car after I had L in his carseat. She wanted $ to buy eyedrops for her son. I told her I didn't have any cash and she said she was getting that answer alot and was desperate. She asked if I could go buy them for her and I said I had my baby in the car, he had just ad shots and I needed to get him home. That's when she told me what a good babysitter she was and that she could watch him while I ran in for her. Yikes. I wonder what would have happened if I had taken her up on that.

I just found the blog post for Sarah's 15 month appt (not sure why I didn't post her 1 year stats...).  I'm sure everything will be just fine at L's 15 month appointment!  We both just have little kids!  Smile

Sarah had her 15 month checkup today - she's getting so big!

She's at 19lbs 8oz (5th percentile). Up from 18lbs 14oz at her 1 year appointment.  She's grown to 31.5 inches (80th percentile). Up from 29.5 inches at her 1 year appointment.

While Chris and I have been concerned about her weight, the doctor is not. He said that she is healthy, happy and active. He also predicts she'll be about 5 feet 5 inches and 110 pounds when she's done growing! Can't ask for anything better than that!!

  • Thanks Lori! A tells me that he's cuter that ways since he's still got little hands and feet ;) Is it usual to have a 15 month appt? It seemed to me that you ususally dont go back until 18 months.

I'm wondering if we had a 15 month appt so Dr D could check her growth too but then she did get shots at that time.  I hadn't heard of it before and none of my friends had it.  She did NOT have an 18 month appointment.  Dr D saw her in December at 21 months (where she also got shots).

  • Becki: Enjoy it! It's hard to look down at them & see a little BOY. Glad everything went well at his appt. :)

  • Hello all!  It's been awhile since I have been on.  DH and I had a fire and watched the Soloist last night.  No plans tonight.  I am pretty sure I am catching a cold so I am going to go work out in about 20 minutes then make dinner and watch AI/The Biggest Loser.
