As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Saw your reply about Lasik-just be very careful who you go to basing it on price! I work for a Lasik place and you wouldn't believe the horror stories we see come in who had it done cheaply-and we have to try and fix what they did. Just do your research and talk with people!

Thanks -my dad is an optician, and I've heard some horror stories too! Obviously price is important, but I care more that I can see - it a good doctor is too pricey, I'll just stick with my specs! :-)
Which center do you work at?
I work at the U of R's lasik center (now called Flaum Eye Institute) for Dr. MacRae-he's one of the best, but I don't know what you want to spend! They do have a cornea fellow program that is cheaper, but the fellow does the surgery and Dr MacRae supervises it-I know some girls on here went that route. They do offer free seminars and if you go to it, it gives you a free consult so you can see if you're a candidate, etc without paying. Where does your Dad work if you don't mind me asking?
