MOH's Invitations are Done! (PIP)
A while back I posted a number of potential designs for my MOH's wedding invitations and solicited feedback. She and her FI chose a different design than I would have, but hey, it's her wedding. The white and black papers are metallic (Stardream) and the damask design is scrapbook paper. The reply and mailing envelopes are addressed by hand with a silver pen. These, as I expected, took for-ev-er. (But I volunteered, so no whining!)
My only whine is this: I emailed her on Sunday to say I'd be leaving them on her back porch. She immediately responded with an email that said: "Thanks." I wrapped the invitations and envelopes (all of which I paid for) in tissue paper and boxed them up all cute with ribbon that matched her invitation ribbon. Since then, I haven't heard anything from her -- no confirmation that she received them, much less a thank you. Oh well. That's just kind of the way she is. But I'm so glad they're done!

At least you feel good about it and I really hope she appreciates it and gives you the full thank you you deserve

i'm sure she's probably just super-swamped with wedding stuff which is why she hasn't gotten around to thanking you yet (ugh, i vaguely remember what it was like to be a harried bride!)
I agree! You definitely deserve a "thank you" at least. They are gorgeous!
As a follow up: I feel so much better! Turns out MOH was out of town and her FI brought the box of invitations inside, but didn't open them. This morning I got a gushing email from her about how she was back in town and finally opened them and she loooves them! So that makes me happy.
Those are gorgeous! And I'm glad you're friend finally responded.....you did a great job on those....
