MoroccoJade - my EC success
hey Jade... I'm hope youre still around here, I haven't seen you lately (but I'm not here much lately either).
anyways, thought you might be interested to know that last week Jeremy started signing to use the toilet. he was ~5.5 months old. its not a perfect sign, but when I saw him concentrating on putting his thumb between his fingers, I pulled off the diaper and went to the bathroom, and he peed right away. and he's done it consistently for over a week now. not only that, but he can hold it pretty good too... like if he's diaper free and starts to dribble, I tell him to hold it, he stops, we go to the toilet, then he goes again.
I am completely blown away with our ECg success with him to this point. however, I'm worried about the future. he actually started crawling today, and he'll be 6 months old this week... which means that we'll introduce solids soon. lots of little changes. I pee and poo him on the toilet (often still holding him, sometimes on a seat ring), but I might get him to use the baby bjorn potty, not sure yet. and his poos are so regular - btwn 7 and 9 am every day... with new food i know it will change, but I hope he doesn't get backed up. Any experience to share with regards to these stages/changes?
also, what other board did you say has an EC group? maybe they could help with my concerns. thanks so much, and hope you are doing well.
