I forgot about MIL's birthday today...whoops.
Guess who's stopping at the store on the way home to get a card and cake? (Providing her husband doesn't get the cake, like he should)
Re: I'm a bad DIL
Oops! Don't feel too bad, the only reason I remember my MIL is because it's the day before mine.
PS - Love your new siggy!
Birthdays are a BIG deal with MIL, I completely forgot all together one year, (M NEVER remembers peoples birthdays, no matter who it is) and we ALL paid for it. She makes a HUGE deal about birthdays, so there is no forgetting a card and cake here unless you never want to live it down and get complete attitude for a while.
I am always the one to do it for her because SIL is just lazy, FIL is a diick, he never does anything for any occassion, and like I said, M always forgets. I like to save an argument and just do it myself.
I took ONE year and decided DH doesn't send ANY cards. After that year, I told my SIL's that I will be responsible for sending cards... so please forgive the first year...
For his mom-whose BD is the day after his-that is up to him. I bought a card and a gift. He took her the gift-forgot the card-which wasn't signed. Sigh! Guess we'll use it next year!
And I agree w Karrey-you remembered!
Cute collage! You should just print that out and frame it to her.
And I can't even imagine how many birthdays would go forgotten if I was left to remember DH's family's bdays!
