Waterbed?
Does anyone have a waterbed? lol
I was browsing a local used frntiure site and saw a number of waterbeds for sale. My nephew asked if I could get one for him...yeh right! I'm sure my sis and BIL would *love* that!
My parents had one when I was a kid, I always freaked out trying to get off cause my foot would get stuck between the bladder and the frame! lol Bad time, bad times.

We own a soft sided water bed, but haven't set it up yet in the new house. It was out guest bed when we were in the apartment.
I like the idea of the soft sided water beds, since they just look like normal beds, and normal sheets fit. But I'm not a fan of having to maintain a bed (other than changing the sheets, that is).
We're waiting to hear back as to whether or not my dad is giving us their spare bed when they move, but we'll likely be putting it up for sale, if anyone is interested....

Hmmmm, at one point in the 80's my whole family had waterbeds. When I look back now that's pretty weird. One of them is still a spare bed and I love to sleep in it but the DH doesn't, boo.

My parents had one of these, and when they got a new bed I got it as a teenager (come to think of it, ew, I was probably conceived in that bed). I really liked it, but the last few times I've been home I think it is not full enough and it's really annoying with 2 people because you feel all the motion of the other person.
