I'm baaaack....
Whew....just now able to sit down even though I shouldn't be. We had a great time. Met his mom, dad, brother (and family), sister (and kids), neighbor and uncle....all were great. Family is country so I feel right at home. Only downside is they are heavy smokers so all of our suitcases are quarantined until I can get everything washed/Febreezed. Lots of F bombs and *** talking but I can take it...makes me feel right at home. BF isn't a fan of the smoking so he does all of the b!tching about it...I'm not one to complain about it- my mom is just as bad.
We went to Tahoe- his grandmother, aunt and uncle all own cabins about 20 minutes away. We chilled with his uncle and rode snow mobiles for about 3 hours. Wow...yes, 3 hours! Amazing sites and alot to take in....I just kept having to stop to try to take in all of the beauty around me. I did get thrown from the mobile twice so that was crappy but we were almost done by that point anyways.
Then we went to San Francisco...again- great times! We drove an hour to Vallejo to take a ferry to San Fran. Got to San Fran and shopped a little and did the Alcatraz tour. Had a blast- we wanted to do more but his mom was ready to head back. I'm not going to complain- this was more of a meet the family and spend time with family trip. So we're already planning a touristy trip back here. I'm sad to report that the sea lions at Pier 39 migrated to Oregon about a month ago for unknown reasons. This was recently in the news...craziness!
Otherwise...we just relaxed the rest of the trip. It was great to see how BF is with me around his family...he has a caring nature about him that is great.
Thanks for listening....I'm sorta still on cloud 9 as far as how well the trip went. Off to put clothes in the dryer....

How long have yall been dating?
Haha...that question never came up- they did discover that I am divorced though- I'm sure it was a non-issue. We've been dating since September.

The trip(s) back? Mainly b/c Cali is so big and you can't see all the touristy spots in one trip. I want to go back and spend more time in San Fran, Napa, Hollywood/LA and then back to Tahoe/Reno and such....and of course to see his family more.
His family is going to try to come out here to help with some remodel stuff at the house and to visit.
