A patient brought us homemade chocolate chip cookies, and it is taking all I have not to go in the kitchen and get one. Ugh, this dieting shi*t is for the birds. I'm not going to cave, I'm not going to cave...

Re: It's not fair!
If I do that I am just going to want more, so I'm not even going to get that taste in my mouth.
That is definitely how I am. I was at a holiday party and someone brought out cookies, and I just wanted a little taste. Well, once I got my hands on a bite, I ended up downing 2 cookies. There's no such thing as a little taste for me!
I'm basically just counting calories, cutting back portions and making sure the first thing I eat in the morning has more protein than carbs. And I've been trying to exercise at least 4 to 5 days a week, mostly running and spinning. I used to work for a weight loss Doctor for 4 years, so I'm pretty much just following his diet. It's pretty simple.
You'll feel really empowered and WAY better about yourself if you resist temptation and *don't* eat those cookies.
On the other hand, you'll probably feel weak and annoyed with yourself if you *do* eat it.
Don't cave and eat that cookie... it's totally not worth losing a hawt bikini-bod over.
You can do it!
Nope, no cookie! And I went to gym after work and ran 3 miles!
Good for you for not eating the cookie and for going to the gym! You have more willpower than I do!
