A post below reminded me

MN4L's post reminded me.  When we were at the IL's on the weekend they were packing up for their move and my FIL said we could take his albums if we wanted and go through them.  He didn't want any of them.  We found a score!  In it was an unopened still sealed copy of the Beatles white album, A first release of Thriller and an old Jackson five album.   Surprisingly the White album is not worth as much as you would think.  However the sites all say it's rapidly rising in value.  A beat up copy of Thriller is worth a couple hundred dollars and I have no idea about the Jackson five album.  I haven't looked it up.  We also found an original Starwars soundtrack.  DH doesn't want to know it's value because he just wants to keep it.

  • that's pretty awesome! I am quickly learning another person's trash is another's treasure! I sold my crappy brass and glass chandelier I was going to throw out in the garbage for $15 yesterday, and the buyer thought it was beautiful. lol.
  • Very cool!

So true, says the new owner of MN4L's pink dishes from her basement Stick out tongue

Thanks again, they look really pretty with my china (although DH still thinks I'm crazy)

haha I'm so glad you still like them!!! I was not too sure if you liked them when you saw them, and I could tell your husband didn't, ha! If you ever want to get rid of them, I am pretty sure it is depression glass (I found some on ebay, but they were not worth that much).

like them. DH could really care less, definitely not his style, but neither is our pretty pink and purple china (he gave up on that battle a long time ago). He'll never use them, but I like them, and I'll use them, so there we go!!!
