**brodiesmom**

I applied for two positions at Lindner Center of Hope today. The PRN Inpatient Social Worker and the Mental Health Specialist positions. If I did the PRN job, I would hope that it would at some point turn into a full time job, or I would be able to move into one. I feel like I am over qualified for the Mental Health Specialist position, but I'm still interested in it.

Do you have any information who I could talk to and check in about my application, or do you have any tips for making myself stand out more to them? I have experience in the mental health field, my LSW, and my Master's in social work.

TIA!

Re: **brodiesmom**

  • Hi! It looks like you're WAY overqualified for the MHS position. The PRN position would allow you to move into a full time position once one becomes available. I know of 2 SW's who started PRN there and got full time within 3-6 months.

I don't know of a specific way you could stand out, but the head of HR is Debbie Strawser. Marguerite Thomas is also in HR, and she processes most of the applications - I can get her number if you would like to call her and follow up, or you can email her at marguerite.thomas@lindnercenter.org

GL and HTH! It's a great place to work! Big Smile

  • What you mentioned about the PRN is what I would hope would happen if I got a job like that. I'd love it if you could  Marguerite's number for me so I could call her.

Do they pay decently? How is vacation time?
