So, how'd you girls do?? 

Were you good this week?  Did you stay on track?

  • I made it to the gym Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and this morning and have done pretty well on my diet.  If I could just quit grabbing a handful of Mike and Ike's off the administrative assistants desk afternoon... that's next week's goal.
  • I was pretty good. 

    I'm proud of myself, I packed a salad for my lunch everyday this week (as opposed to purshasing a Tuna Wrap from our deli), saved $, as well as eating healthy.

    I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things, with DH's school schedule, and stuff, so I only made it to the gym once.  I'm okay w/ that though, I'm still trying to establish a schedule.

    Dinner's overall were pretty healthy, I've watched my serving size's. 

    Still not smoking! 

  • I've been to the gym twice this week so far, which is good for me considering I haven't been since, oh, July!  Tomorrow is day 3, and then I have bootcamp Sunday morning. I definitely feel better already (about myself) and my "fat" pants are fitting, but I attribute that to cutting down on the fast food. This wasn't my week to drive the carpool so I've brought my lunch all week, and I did last week, too.  Definitely a good start!
    We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • Not an especially good week for me. havent worked out (not once i dont think!). Eaten ok, but not good. My goal for next week is to find some simple dishes to make that include a lot of fresh veggies (maybe something like a light stir fry?). I feel like i've really strayed away from veggies recently in attempts to cut back on my food spending.

    I'd be perfectly fine with eating a plate of plain steamed veggies, but DH will complain if theyre too bland, so I have to make something that will work for both of us.  I'm definitely open to veggie recipe suggestions if anyone has any to share...

  • Worked out twice (Wii Fit once, 5.1 mile training walk once). Ate...eh, okay. This was the last week of vacation pre-semester and I had lots of (catered with fattening foods) meetings and the last trickling of New Years social gatherings. Hopefully next week will be better!

    Oh, I have managed to stick to my resolution to not take the elevators on campus whenever I can!

    Does he like roasted vegetables? That might mix things up a bit. My favorites are asparagus, bell peppers, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.

  • I have done really good with my meals, but have not exercised once. I will be better next week.

  • I went to spin Tuesday and Thursday (also did some abs then), and plan to do 30 or so minutes on the elliptical + strength. I also plan to work out this weekend.

     

    M & W were big fat fails... I have class at night so I keep planning to work out in the morning but I'm having trouble making myself do it. Oh well, I'm not too worried about it. 

  • We just got back from Asia last night. We already went and joined the (beautiful, $$, 24/hour) gym that is literally 100 yards from our apartment.  We used to be members, but then quit before the wedding because we were trying to save money.

    I have barely worked out AT ALL in the last 6 months, but we are ready to get back on board.

     I already planned meals for the week and just have to grocery shop when Trader Joe's opens (there's the jet lag for you- we have both been up for hours already). I will definitely be checking in weekly with you ladies!
