Happy Friday! - Weekend Plans
What is everyone doing this weekend? I'm happy I got lucky with a 3 days weekend. Tonight I'm having a friend over and we are having KA's chicken tacos for dinner, baking some Funfetti cupcakes and watching a chick flick. Tomorrow night I'm going to the outlets and out to dinner with another friend. Sunday and Monday I am spending with DH... we are going to Town Lake and lunch one day and spending the other day running errands, doing some cleaning around the house and hanging some new pictures we got for Christmas. I seem to never have plans on the weekend... and DH works most of it, so I'm pretty excited.

I'm going to sit on the couch and relax while watching the Hangover tonight. I have been wanting to watch the movie since it came out and we never have a chance.
Saturday night I'm going to a friends birthday party to a new place we've never been (Reds Porch). I obviously can't drink but they have gumbo and that sounds really good when it rains.
ILs are taking the whole family to PF Changs for dinner tomorrow night for my b-day. Other than that, I am cleaning my house like my life depends on it. Seriously, it's a pit.
Yay it's Friday! Finally! This week could not go any slower. Tomorrow is my baby shower. Yay! I'm super excited. Then Sunday, I'm having a brunch with the girls throwing my baby shower. I guess the rest of the weekend will depend on how tired I am. I'm thinking maybe we'll go and see that George Clooney movie. We've got two free tickets to a movie that we need to use and nothing until this movie has sounded remotely appealing.

Tonight: Dinner at the oh so exciting Elk's Lodge. My husband is "volunteer Elk on Duty" so I am just hanging out up there. My family is heading into New Braunfels for the weekend so hopefully the rain lets up a little and they make it by tonight.
Tomorrow: My best friend and her daughter are heading to NB. We (bf along with my mom and sister) plan on shopping the day away in Gruene. Lunch at the Gristmill and then dinner at Mamacitas. We plan on going to the movies tomorrow night.
Sunday: Church and then doing the family birthday dinner (my bday is on Monday) at Gruene River Grill. Sunday afternoon, heading into San Antonio to do a little more shopping and hanging out with bf.
Monday: My birthday!!
DH is in charge of those plans...so I am not sure!
Mmmmm...Gumbo. Running off to google.
Friday - just cleaning up and resting. I didn't sleep well at all this week.
Saturday - finding the perfect gift for my friend's 30th birthday, she always comes up with the most thoughtful gifts for me, so I need to find something awesome
Sunday - driving to Fort Worth to order my custom made TCU boots...I'm over the moon excited
Monday - I have the day off, so catching up on my TV and dinner with a friend

Muahaha! Let's see ... last night DH got drunk for no apparent reason and acted like a jerk. Then he woke me up at 3:30 this morning whining and moaning because he had a sore throat. Then I get up at 6am and my nightstand has every drawer opened and all the contents displaced, and my purse was dumped out on the love seat in our bedroom. All in search of a cough drop. THEN I went to put on my shoes and he had stolen my last pair of socks.
So (getting to the good part) not only am I ordering granite countertops with the undermount sink I've been craving ... he's buying me an iPhone today! Guilt can do great things
So at lunch I'm picking out the granite for my bathroom.
Tonight I'm playing with my new iPhone.
Tomorrow DH and I are going to lunch at Mangerias with the Groupon coupon I bought.
Tomorrow night, birthday party for a friend in a swanky condo.
Should be a good weekend!!
I'm making yummy salmon tonight, then hanging around the campus area to help myself navigate come March. Tomorrow or Sunday it's a trip to Ikea so we can finish setting up and organizing our loft (it looks like a tornado ripped through here).

Exciting! It will be the weirdest sensation ever when you run your tongue over your teeth and they are smooth. Plus you won't have to check your teeth for food!
I am going to a mimosa brunch in the morning provided by our apartment complex and then scrapbooking with some friends. Sunday we might go camping.
