Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I saw your message below....as far as my settings, it really depends on the lighting. If I'm taking photos of Cassie, or for that matter, anything that moves fast, I use a wide aperture and fast shutter speed.
What kind of camera did you get? I got mine almost a year ago and it's all just starting to sink in. All I can recommend is to play, play, play!

If you're taking a lot of indoor/night pics, you might want to invest in an external flash (speedlight). I don't have one yet, but I think that would help you.
I hate taking indoor/night pics with a high ISO because they look so grainy!
