story time
Interesting little story for you girls... sorry if this gets long. But how crazy is this. I've mentioned before how TJ's dad is pretty much, crap. We see him alot then he disappears for months on months. And I pretty much don't believe anything that comes out of his mouth. We don't even know if TJ's parents are still concidered married or what. But obviously not together. He moved out a few years ago.
I think I told you girls awhiiilllle back, one night while we were at our local bar, tjs dad was there with us. After a few drinks, he casually tells us that TJ has a half brother that is the same age as one of this sisters. Same age as in, in the hospital at the same time. He plays basketball in a new by college etc. Then never mentioned it again. TJ was upset for a bit but kinda figured 'ehh, he's lying'. Cause, to him, that obviously ment he was cheating.
Well, he texted me alittle bit ago and goes 'so I found out that the rumor about a half brother is true'. I was like umm huh? Mind you, he's at a wrestling tournament, i was like how did he hear this?! Turns out, one of his wrestler's moms walks up to him and asks 'are you related to so-n-so'. TJ's like 'yah, thats my dad'. She then asks him if he knows he has a half brother.
This woman is the half brother's mom. So basically, tj and one of his wrestlers have the same brother. But apparently neither the little wrestler nor the half bro know anything about tj and his siblings yet. She said she's waiting to find a good time to tell them. (im assuming she means now that she knows tj.. a good time is coming)
I'm curious to see how all this plays out. And it pisses me off at his dad even more cause it doesn't sound like his dad sees this kid much at all cause she asked tj if his dad is still around. TJ's dad side of the fam doesn't really talk to his dad either. But we all still continue to go to that side of the fam's for holidays and everything without him. This poor 'half bro' doesn't even know a huge part of his family.
arrrrrgh. I hope this is a good turn around and tj can meet him sometime since he has a connection now. But they have a half sister out there also and they barely know her anymore.... sooo im not sure how it'll go.

Yup. This woman is the mother of one of his wrestlers. So TJ and his wrestler 'share' a half brother. Pure ridiculousness. But I so want to see this brother.. see if he's anything like tj and my ILs.
Wow, that's crazy! Both the fact that this half-brother does exist and that they would both end up at the same wrestling meet.
You'll have to let us know how it plays out Tammy. I can't imagine. At least he had some sort of heads-up about this, even if you didn't know whether or not it was actually true.
