I have young house love's blog (even though they kind of annoy me...) in my google reader and today they posted a link to this blog:

I think a lot of these plans are totally do-able. I hope she doesn't get shut down for the "knock offs" but just in case I have been C&Ping some I might want to try.
Don't worry - I won't cutting wood in my grandpa's shop until after the baby is born!! haha. But after that I'm totally going to give a few of these projects a try. I always knew I could make a farmhouse table, but I had no clue where to start and with a plan my grandpa might actually believe I can do it. I want one of these tables b/c our dining area is quite narrow but I want a table with lots of seating so I plan to have a bench on one side (the side we walk through) and chairs on the other.
I like this one: restoration hardware knock off
but this one would be easier... West elm's version
oh, and I like this too, I actually was looking at the real ones in the catalog as something to add to the basement in the area we want to be the playroom corner

I saw this on YHL too (they're in my reader as well), but I just cracked up when I read this:
I feel the same way! I enjoy their blog, and yet at the same time I sometimes get vaguely annoyed by it...I'm not sure why?
