As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So apparently group of the military nesties formed a private discussion board outside of The Nest wherein they discussed personal matters, and occasionally, badmouthed other members of the military nesties.
That board was hacked, and the feathers flew. (See link.)
I just wanna say - I never expected to become addicted to the Knot message boards back when I first joined. But in my own nerdy kind of way, I consider you all friends. I can't imagine sitting around and badmouthing anyone here, and I hope that goes the other way around.

Wow that is interesting that the Mod was the main one participating. I just introduced myself on that board maybe 3 weeks ago? Only because my DH is a pilot and never really home, so they were the only ones up at 2am when I missed my DH and wanted to lurk. Their husbands are gone a lot so I figured they could relate. I only posted a few times but just mostly lurked. I feel really bad for those ladies because that board is a serious support system for a lot of them. Not that you should trust anyone on this site, but when your husband is away fighting in hostile territory, you need that kind of support and want to poor your heart out to those who understand what you're going through. Sucks that their mod had to take advantage. Sucks that they got caught....
And for the record, you're cool.

Wow that is messed up! I would never bad mouth any of the girls on here and esp wouldn't go start a secret board with select members to do so! So women are just way too b!tchy for me. Thats why this is really the only board I post on.
Kristina - I know, what was up with that random chick trying to come in and take over! We were all so confused, I am glad we got rid of her haha

lol im sry karen!! i have no problems with the oct. girls because I can be free from drama with the click of a button. I wish it was that easy in real life. I've just had some very bad experiences with girls in my past. They were always very two-faced.

LoL, I know exactly what you mean. For what it's worth, my best friends in college were pretty much all guys. That being said - and I'm sure you'll agree with me - guys can get just as beotchy as girls can.
That's just ridiculous.
