Selling my Babycook by Beaba!
Hi girls!
I'm selling my babycook, I used it for about a month, but have found that I like cooking huge batchs the old school way, so I just don't need it anymore.
It's in great condition, the steaming basket is a little orange from cooking carrots though, but other than that, it's in great shape.
I can let it go for $75 plus whatever shipping is. Email me at kristen@crybabyink.com if you'd like it
Arrived 4.5 weeks early due to PROM

i'll ask MH and see what he thinks...but like you, we'll probably do it the old fashioned way since our rice cooker has a steamer and we already have a food processor.
but... i wanted to say that your DD is soooo stinkin' cute. your siggy pic makes me smile every time i see it
now that she can pull herself up on things, is she cruising now?

Thanks J!
I'm loving seeing A's video's you post on FB, Rob came in the other day and was like "who's that?". Am I the only one who finds it hard to explain that it's a friend whom I've never met??
E's not walking but crawling like a mofo! Have you seen her new you tube channel? Oh no, I'm not kidding
It's www.youtube.com/crybabyink
I swear, who needs a baby book when you have technology. I have just about every milestone recorded
p.s. I wanted to also thank you for posting on a thread a little while back about the whole "instant bonding" thing when the baby in born. I was like you, so exhausted and releived that it was over, since E was so early, the NICU showed up and all sorts of other chaos, so I was just happy that it was over and she was alive and breathing. I didn't have any of those romanticized instant love affairs that "they" talk about. Of course I felt guilty about that, like I was "supposed" to feel a certain way, I think it actual led to my PPD. Blech. Anyhoo, I'm totally obsessed with her now...as you can tell

DARN! Wish this was posted a few months ago, I am dyyyyying for one. However, my hubs won't allow me to buy one at this point, since Brooke is already 8 months and for God knows what reason, he thinks I won't use it...
What a great deal though.
And yes, your daughter is absolutely ADORABLE.

LOL I'm lucky that Ben is a nerd and has internet friends of his own (he calls you all my Nest Girls), but sometimes explaining to other people - like his technologically challenged parents - is a bit harder lol, which is why I sometimes joke around with Ben and call you all my "imaginary internet friends." For his parents I usually just go with "a friend of mine in the States."
oh how cool! I really do not spend any time on youtube, except uploading those videos of A.... how do you go about creating a channel? the grandparents would love that!!
I love the video you took on 1/11 - too cute! I don't know how they do it but they always end up in funny positions, wrangling out of their clothes, or something don't they?! i saw on another board PIP of a baby that had gotten his whole arm out of his PJs while sleeping... about half the time i go to get A out of her crib and she'll have an arm out of her swaddle...and every now and then i'll find that she has wriggled (while swaddled) into a completely different spot in her crib, sometimes a full 90 degrees from how i put her down
oh and i was really glad that my friend had talked to me about "that moment" after the baby is born. it was shortly before A was born and i just thought to myself it was sweet of her to say that, but surely I wouldn't have that problem since i am such a mushy, emotional person. but i guess you just never know what's going to happen huh? i am sorry to hear you went through PPD, i didn't know you had, but can only imagine it's like the baby blues (which i did have) but much much worse. it's all worth it in the end, though, right?

The "channel" on you tube is just your account, so if your log in name is MrsPresley, your channel would be www.youtube.com/mrspresley, so I just send the grandparents the link and then anytime someone wants to see your videos, they just click on the link
As far as the PPD, it was only really bad for a week, I was high on the predisposed list, so it wasn't that much of a shock. It sucked, no doubt, but in the grand scheme of things, I feel like I got off easy since the worst part was over in a week and I have a rockstar support system. I have a hard time w/ expectations, of course, i want to do everything "right" and if there's any time in a womans life when the expectations are at their highest, it's childbirth. Rob and I had a conversation just yesterday about why women feel the pressure to do things "right" regarding babies (bf'ing, spending enough time, loving every second, never getting flustered) and men don't. And the crap thing about it all is that these "excpectations" are all self imposed. Duh!
