Kittens?

Anybody in the DC/Maryland/VA area want a kitten or two?  My douche bag neighbors moved and left two beautiful gray and white kittens.  I'd be willing to drive them to you!  What the FUUUCK is wrong with people!?!

Re: Kittens?

  • If Matt wasn't opposed to a second cat I would totally want one!!  I hope you can find homes for them :-(
  • I wish I lived closer! I hope they find good homes!

  • Oh no, that is so sad and I wished I lived closer!  We were just talking about getting another kitten to keep our one on his toes :)  I hope you are able to find someone to take them in.
  • boooo I want one = (  Too bad we won't be in DC anytime soon
  • Oh my gosh, that is so horrible! I hope they find good homes asap!

  • I haaaaaaaate that!  Good for you for getting them and sparing them from trying to "fend for themselves".  Where I work we got two bunnies last year that someone had left behind in their home after getting foreclosed on.  Just left them in the cage in the house!  WTF!  THEN the fumigators came to spray for termites and instead of calling someone to take the bunnies they put them in the back yard and opened the cage!  Can you believe that crap?  It's actually free to turn your pet over to the local humane societies here.  I don't get why people can't do that.
  • You "can't" drop off animals to the human society in Maryland.  They charge a fee.  I can't remember exactly how much it is right now but it's minimal.  They left the kittens inside to starve to death.  Someone was over there yesterday working and DH saw one run out.  I discovered the other last night.  I was trying to catch the one outside and could hear the second crying imagein the house.  Luckily, the door was unlocked.  Here they are so sweet.
  • awww now I really want one = (
