XP: update on dad

Thanks everyone for the prayers.  We did get some good news tonight.  They moved him out of ICU and into a regular room.  He is getting better very slowly.  He is still pretty sick but is breathing on his own and eating.  He is very weak and can hardly lift his arms and it takes two people to get him out of bed.  He will be starting physical therapy.  His kidney and liver still are not functioning and he is getting a permanent port put in for dialisys. There is a very good chance his liver will start to function again and a chance for his kidney.  We were told both could take up to 3 months or more.  They also think he had a very mild heart attack during all of this but aren't concerned about it.

Thank you everyone for all the positive thoughts and prayers for him.  I am a firm believer in the power of prayer and believe thats why my dad is surviving.  We were told they didn't think he would live.

Sorry it took so long to update but I have been at the hospital late at night and also dealing with a very fussy baby who is going through separation anxiety and possibly the early stages of teething i think.
