Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

kaboom...
...was the noise made by our patio awning as it tore free from the house and collapsed under the weight of the snow this AM. I thought our house had been struck by lighting or something! Fortunately, the dog was NOT outside on a potty break during this. After reaching hubs on the phone I went ahead and filed a claim with our home owner's insurance. We'll probably have to put some plastic sheets in place to protect the roofline from water, but hopefully the house won't suffer any further damage and insurance will cover repair costs. I guess our home think's we're not making renovations fast enough, so it decided to do a little of it's own demo work.
