How is everyone today? So who all is off today? I'm not that lucky. I've also been up since 2:30. I woke up because I thought I heard something and then my mind started wandering and anxiety sat in so I just laid on the couch and watched infomercials. Hope everyone has a good day!

Re: Monday again...
Morning! I was up at 2:45 this morning because I set the wrong alarm and then I couldn't go back to bed. Grr!
Good news is that I weighed myself this morning and I'm down 8 lbs.! Yessssssss!
Good morning. There is no such thing as days off between now and April 15th, so I'm here.
I have to teach a training class this morning and then attend one this afternoon. (I most likely won't be on much today).
Congrats Michelle! Are you just doing the 30 day shred?
Stacy, I hope it isn't as bad as what you are thinking...sending positive thoughts your way!
Hi girls, I'm off today. I'm kind of bummed though because it's pretty bad weather, snow, ice, etc so I am probably stuck inside. I want to go to the gym and run errands but that probably isn't going to happen. So I think I am going to clean and do laundry and maybe start to pack for our move if I get the motivation. I haven't been sleeping well either, it's frustrating because I am really tired but then can't sleep.
Good for you Michelle!
There's no way I could eat fish 3x a week! I've been doing the biggest loser game for wii and going to the gym plus eating better and I like it so far. I've lost 6lbs...slow and steady is fine by me...just as long as I dont gain anymore!
Great job!! I didn't think I could eat fish 3 x's a week either but I actually found out that I love Salmon and catfish. Tuna steaks on the other hand...
I'm off today, but will have a full day of painting and packing. (I swear I will finish painting the bedroom today. Then I can have two weeks paint-free weeks before painting the new place.) Even though I'm so tired of painting and doing all the cutting in work by hand, I'd take that over sitting in my depressing office anyday!
Painters tape and an edger would eliminate all that hand cutting in and make it go a lot faster!
Doesn't work. Tried both (and have taped some of it, but the time to put the tape accurately doesn't really save me much.) The edgers I've found SUCK - they leave about 1/4" gap everywhere or end up getting paint all over what you're trying to avoid getting paint on.
That does suck...they work so well for me...maybe it's just not a good brand one or something because there is a big difference between the cheapos and the good ones.
We bought some $15 edger AND used tape when we just did the living room a couple of weekends ago and still had to go in and fix things by hand w/a tiny brush. Our walls are textured though, so maybe that has something to do w/it. The living room was such a PITA that we haven't even bought the paint for the kitchen, bathrooms and Mike's man room yet...maybe next weekend.

This is the problem - the walls are textured and also covered with probably 10 coats of high gloss crap that makes it impossible to rely on something that uses the wall as a guide. I did the same thing throughout the house, Val - the living area (in a lighter tan) and also in this bedroom.
Yep, that's prob what the problem is. The instructions on the edger we bought said not to use it on textured surfaces. It still worked okay...better than just the tape, but still not great.
The lady who helped us at Home Depot also told us to use some Painters Caulk. You have to tape, then put a thin bead of caulk along the tape and the wall, paint, then pull the tape off. It worked, but it was also a PITA b/c it didn't come out that smooth. I only used it along the fireplace...will prob do it along the cabinets in the kitchen too though.

I guess I don't understand the point of the caulk, then. LOL It's like one extra step!
