1) Do you have plans for the Family Day long weekend? We'll be in California. It just happens to be over Family Day weekend. Otherwise I would have been working since it's not a holiday for our clients.
2) Are you going on vacation this summer? Yes, we'll be home for a week and we'll also probably do some long weekends both up north and do the east coast US depending on how things go with the LO.
3) What's your next major home 'to do' item? Nursery.

5) Do you celebrate Valentines Day with your SO? Not really. Whenever we do something, it's more so just to say we've done it since everyone says "so what did you do for Valentine's Day". But this year we'll be in California.
6) What are you looking forward to the MOST this year? I'll avoid stating the obviously....so otherwise just loving the fact that it's a new year. Last year was really rough with my uncle dying, etc. and while I know that the turn of the calendar to 2010 doesn't actually change things, it some ways, it does give that sense of new hope for a better year.
1. I don't think so. It will be the weekend before the trade show so I will probably be doing last minute things.
2. Yep we are going to Montana to hang with DH's family.

4. Usually. Either we go to Toronto because his family usually has a big valentines day party or we hang out here and celebrate our dating anniversary. We went on our first date on Valentines day (it was an accident. Neither of us realized it until the day of. It was kinda funny.

No....I hadn't even thought of it. Hopefully a nice relaxing weekend I guess.

We are renting a place in Maine (right on the Ocean) for a week. We went last year, and had a blast

Hmmmm...probably some stuff in our basement. We need new windows etc. down there, and some work on organization. Once the snow is gone, we have lots of work to do outside.
4) If you were gifted $5,000 today, what would you spend the money on?
Probably put in on our Line of Credit. We have lots of house stuff that needs to get done (the house is over 20 years old, and needs new windows and a roof etc.) so we often use our line of credit and then pay that off.
5) Do you celebrate Valentines Day with your SO?
We don't do anything really special. I've never been a huge fan of the holiday. DH usually gets me chocolates which is nice.

Of course the new baby, and being off for the year...it's hard to look past that at the moment!

3) What's your next major home 'to do' item? We just did our major one- renovating our living room and removing a god-awful fireplace. Now there's not much- I want to turn our upstairs loft area from an office into a TV room. To do that we need a laptop, a flat-screen TV that can hang on the wall, and some chairs or a loveseat to sit on.
4) If you were gifted $5,000 today, what would you spend the money on? A personal trainer, clothes, the TV room mentioned above, and a small aluminum boat for my husband. I think I could do that with $5000

(so far) Graduating (I'll be finished in December), and finishing classes (I'll be done classes in July, and after that I'll be doing my final practicum until December)

I won't have to work the weekend, but I might have to work the holiday..not sure yet. We will likely just have a normal weekend.

Yes, in July we're going to a family cabin/resort place up north for 1 week with his family.
In August we're going to Denver for a week for a friends wedding.

Looking for a new home! Otherwise, just decorating our current place and decluttering so it will 'show' better.

This is our first Valentines Day living together. We don't usually do gifts, but will give each other candy. I'm usally pretty down around that time of year. It was the day after Valentines Day when my Mom suffered her aneurysm and she died a week later (sorry to be Debbie Downer). He tries to be understanding and lets me be sad when I need to be.

Continuing to share our newlywed lives together and learning more about ourselves and each other. Possibly TTC this summer.
1) Do you have plans for the Family Day long weekend? No. Not really. It also happens to be reading week in school. So, I will be catching up on school and finishing up my assignments. Not much.

- Where are you going and for how long? We are going to Spain and Russia for a month in August.

- Where are you going and for how long? We're planning to go back to Aruba this summer. We're hoping for 10 days, but we'll go for at least a week.

- Do you get eachother gifts? I get DH a card. We usually argue about whether DH should buy me flowers. He says it's his "husbandly duty", but I tell him if he needs to get me flowers to wait a month till my b-day, it's cheaper that way.
- Do you have a tradition/routine? We get take out chinese and a bottle of wine and have a nice dinner at home.

- Where are you going and for how long? We're debating about it... but I get three weeks holidays. We want to either go to Europe or somewhere within driving distance.
