not feeling motivated

To do anything. I really want to start losing the rest of my baby weight and a little bit more but urg everytime I get up in the morning I just want to sit around and watch LO. After LO goes for a nap I know I should do something. What do you ladies do to be motivated.

  • I stopped going to the gym because it was so much of a big deal to get Scarlett there in time to get to the daycare and still get a workout.  I know some places offer a mommy and me gym class so you can play with your baby and still get some exercise.  Maybe you could try one of those?

  • I go to a baby boot camp and I also am starting pilates. I lost the baby weight about 2w pp and started boot camp when I was 10w pp I believe. It has really gotten me back into shape (I go once a week). I started another round of sessions and am starting pilates this week too.

    For me the motivation is getting out and talking to the other mom's. Now that I have seen results I want to keep it up.

    Do you have any similar type of classes in your area?

  • I also do an exercise class with the baby.  It is great because we get out of the house and get exercise.
  • I've only been living in Ajax for about a year and not really sure about the classes around her. I googled stuff and couldn't find anything. Thanks ladies. I think I'm going to check the goodlife fitness near me, they have child minding there so I can drop her off for an hour while I work out.

  • The winter session started already so I'm going to have to wait for the spring which I don't mind. 

    I told myself today to stop feeling bad for myself and just get over myself and start working out. I have P90X and 10 Minute trainer so I'm going to start those tonight.
