How have you been fixing your salmon? My brother can cook some great salmon and DH loves it but I tried it and it didn't work so well

so now DH won't eat it...plus it has such a fishy smell to it that he has a hard time getting over that even though he's a fisherman!

Re: Michelle
Mark actually cooks all the fish because I wouldn't know if I did it right or not. He's a good cook like that. When he cooks it it doesn't smell like fish at all! I believe he cooks in in EVOO, salt/pepper & lemon juice. He pan cooks it for about 10ish min. on each side and it's SO yummy!
We always buy the Wild salmon because I guess it tastes better then the farm raised. It's a little more expensive but well worth it.
Butting in...
It's also good in Teriyaki sauce or w/some pesto on it. You can bake it at 350 for about 20 mins. Or with the Teriyaki you can grill it.

Tilapia we haven't tried yet..sorry!
I actually tried catfish for the first time last week and loved it. MH uses this seasoning and bakes in for not very long on each side and it's SO good. I was actually tried to try catfish because I thought it was going to be full of fur or something because of 'cat' in the world. lol..I'm weird like that.
I like to soak my catfish in texas pete in the fridge for about 30mins and then bread it with zatarains fish breader or house-autry seafood breader and its so yummy...it's not really spicy but has a nice flavor to it...also buttermilk is good to soak it in prior to breading...after all this talk of fish we are having some tonight!
