Sat - I hung out at home for a few hours playing video games and doing nothing. THen I felt guilty and finally got up and did some work. Went out with my friend that afternoon to get pedicures. Babysat little Libby Saturday night. She is just toooo cute!
Sunday - went house shopping again. Cooked some food for this week. I really like cooking on Sunday for the week. It helps out so much!
Darah ~ did you post pictures of the house? I can't remember.
Weekend was good. Busy but really good.
Friday night DH and I went out to eat and it was really nice to get out of the house and catch up on our weeks events because he'd been gone Sun - Thurs.
Saturday - I backed up my entire computer because we fear it is headed for the great big junkyard in the sky... that also helped me get out of cleaning out the storage room so that SIL can move her crap. Saturday night I went to see my friends niece perform in her School of Rock concert (we have a school in the area called School of Rock and she goes there and they put on concerts at a local bar/restaurant in the early evening when its more restaurant than bar). It was a lot of fun and those kids are really freaking talented. After that I met up with DH at a friends house to watch the game. Well, I chatted with the ladies while he watched the game
Sunday - I had to run out to the model to sign a paper, then turn around and come right back out here to go to lunch with 2 of my friends. They haven't spoken in years and I was nervous but lunch went really well and it was like we'd never stopped hanging out as a group. After that it was home to my couch to relax for the rest of the night and of course the 24 premier!!
I did when we first made an offer. I'll post before and after pictures in the next few months as we are painting and what not.
Saturday we saw Avatar and then went furniture shopping. I was tuckered out after that.
Sunday we went to the National Geographic Museum and saw the terracotta soldiers. It was cool. Then we went home because the weather sucked and I didn't feel like being out in it anymore.
Today we went back to the chosen furniture store and bought a new bedroom set. It'll be here in two weeks. Yay!
we had an amazing weekend! lots of friends and family came too town for my baby shower...the shower was incredible, everyone went above and beyond, and my registry is practically empty! also got lots of really cute clothes and TJ's mom gave us some baby clothes that were made for TJ's child by his grandma (josephine, our baby girl name) before she died and stuck in a closet with a letter to him from her. so amazing.
just finished all my airport/train station runs. now i'm eating cake and watching the bachelor and totally vegging. TJ is in portland this week for work
so it is really quiet, but i'm enjoying this moment - and baby sharpie really likes cake!!
