So ladies, how was your weekend? Some of you are lucky and are still enjoying it...

This weekend was pretty slow for once.
Friday: We had some work to finish. So we worked most of the night and then watched some tv.
Saturday: We had an aweomse morning together<3. Then I went to a friend's baby shower. Then DH and I went out to dinner with friends and played games at their house.
Sunday: We cleaned up the house and had friends over for dinner and watched some football. Then we just hung out and ended uo watching Hitch.
Not very productive.
DH gave me his crud and it rained all day saturday and sunday morning. I'm feeling better but still have a lingering cough.
From Saturday night on, it was rough.
I want to go back to bed.
Fri: DH & I discovered 1 vs 100 on xbox live. Omg so fun and addicting! If you get a high enough score, you can win games and points to spend, it's pretty sweet
Sat: DH worked all day, I just cleaned and painted stuff. We've been shampooing the carpet in sections, it's such a PITA, but holy moly the dirt that comes up!
Sun: I set up my new etsy store! I'm going to start with hand painted letters like I did for the twins and a friend's baby and who knows what else I'll get into from there. I just have to add my postings tonight and it will be ready to go! I'll give you ladies the link if you want!

My weekend was niiiiiice! Didnt have to work at all!
Friday me, Dh and another couple went to Lo Lo's Chicken and Waffles... Best chicken and waffles EVERRR! I was so full after that we got home at 830 and I passed out on the couch ! LOL
Saturday I went and looked at a china hutch I found on Craigslist! It was only $50 and needs to be sanded, but I think it will turn out realllly nice! I have high hopes! Then I met a friend for lunch, then went to a house warming party AND THEN went out for dinner and drinks for one of DH's friends bdays. Full day!
Sunday I got my Sdad to help me go get the china hutch. Then went to Home Depot and got paint, stain, and all my other little supplies. I cant wait to get started on it!
We both had to work on Saturday, so we were good to ourselves and ate our three times. Each time was cheap, but we never do it that.
Friday we went out for pizza (fancy pizza . . . mmmmm)
Saturday night after wrok we had Mexican at a place around the corner from us (BYOB and tasty flan, wooo)
Sunday, we had crepes at a new French place for brunch. And then cooked all day. Well J cooked. I worked on cover letters and felt like crap.
Wow!!! I just placed a bid for some chairs that need lots o 'love' for our dining room. I almost got some off Craigslist, but these are going to be much better and I can upholster them, too-sort of...
Fri-worked out, went somewhere... oh, the bookstore-got my Bible for my NY Resolution--OMG-can they have more than a thousand versions?!? ones for women, ones for men, ones for students, for women of color, 'life' Bible... etc... Thank heavens (literally!) a worker came over and helped me out.
Sat-worked... busy! worked out and went to the neighbor's to play cards and look at tattoos (cause I'm getting 'thisclose' to getting one and her sister has a shop)...
Sun-put away our holiday decorations, went out for VDay ones, worked out w DH, napped, watched the Cowboys get their tails handed to them!!! HA!
Fri- had book club. SIL got super drunk asked if she could feel the baby (I said yes of course) she then started pushing down on my uterus and like pinching the bottom of it really hard (with her fingers like four inches apart) saying "I think I have the baby's head". I jumped up and said that I had to go pee and moved to a different spot when I got back. It hurt! And honestly, the baby is 24 weeks, lets try NOT to squeeze the brains out of her head. I'm sure that's not possible, but really, when you ask if you can touch someone's belly you put your hand on it and if they guide you to do so, you gently apply pressure.
Sat- Ordered my cloth diapers! Actually I went to a local CD store, picked them out and put them on layaway. So fun, that store is crazy! Next I went to Target and found the breast pump that I really wanted on clearance from $300 down to $195. SCORE!
Sunday- Nothing. We had a marathon that goes down one main street next to my neighborhood then turns down another. It is almost impossible to get out of the neighborhood so usually we just stay home.
Have you read the blog "Life in the Fun Lane"? She refinished a lot of furniture. She paints most of her stuff white, but I like her style. I think she has a few tips for painting on her blog.

When my sister was PG, I asked to feel the belly as it was getting big. I was rubbing it and trying to see how big it was, so i tried to find the bottom of the belly, and my sister starts yelling "you're rubbing my vagina you're rubbing my vagina!!" I was soooooo embarrassed! I will never try to find the bottom of the belly ever again! lol
BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!
I love that blog, but seriously, who can have all that white with a baby?
My weekend was good!
Friday I had off and went to lunch with my mom. DH and I saw Avatar Friday night.
Saturday - DH had to work, so I had lunch, shopping, and pedicures with friends.
Sunday - Brunch and errands. It was a rainy day so we hung out around the house for the most part.
Monday - We went outlet shopping. Almost all of the winter clothes are gone already, and I'm not ready to buy shorts and tank tops yet. Disappointing!
Really boring

Fri: Worked until 10:15
Sat: Worked out and worked until 10:15
Sun: Ran errands, cooked dinner and then worked until 10:15
I'm on a client right now where I work in the office 1 - 5 and then at the client from 6:45 - 10:15pm. We all have to do it once a year for 7 days in a row. I'm almost done and so ready to get back to my normal life. So I haven't had a day off since the 10th and my next day off is the 23rd. Boo.
Friday - We worked and then came home... M went to the gym and when he got home we were supposed to go out for our date night. Yeah, that never happened, we put our PJ's on and caught up on our shows we had taped lol We are such an old married couple already!
Saturday - Lazy beginning of the day... Then went out window shopping for houses. Found some good areas we REALLY like and would be able to afford. Went out for dinner and saw Avatar in 3D! (Such a good movie BTW!)
Sunday - Did some running around for last minute things M needed for his trip to Orlando this week. Visited my parents and brother for a bit and then headed home. M had to catch a red-eye at 10:30 last night out of LAX, took him almost 2 HOURS to get through security... Made it to his gate at 10:20!! Almost missed his flipping flight! We were both in panic mode.
I'm actually glad it's Monday. I'm dreading this weekend... It's going to be my last weekend for a while since I'll be working weekends from now on!
