i think i am going to treat dh and myself to a cruise. we never got to do the honeymoon because i thought it would be more fun to get sick and spend all my money on medical bills (:sarcasm:), we are going to san diego in july, but that is a vacation for me and work for him.?
looking at the carnival conquest out of galveston may 30 - june 6, montego bay, grand cayman, and cozumel - anyone else slightly interested?
we did a cruise in january 2007 and had so much fun with just us 2, but i think it would be more fun if we had others that we know/can hang with. the ships are so big that we can all lose each other VERY easily when needed
?
Re: i want to go on a cruise
I would LOVE to go on another cruise. I would like to go some place warm right now. I just want to lay in the sun and bake!
?
our only cruise we went on was a princess cruise (the grand princess) - it was so fantastic! princess does not port in new orleans or galveston anymore
those are both in driving distance for us and saves us $$$$ so although i would LOVE to take another princess cruise, we wont this time around!?
I want to go to San Diego in July!
DH and I have been considering a cruise out of Galveston (especially since we're so close), but more like a weekend cruise. A week long cruise sounds fun! We wouldn't be able to, since we're going to Vegas for a week in April.
I never been on a cruise before, but my friend just went last month with her FI, and she was in love with it. Makes me want to put a cruise plan in the definite works, but sounds like a nice week long cruise in a couple years away for us, DH already called next year for his vacation idea.
Dh and I have been wanting to go on a cruise too!
We went on a cruise for our HM to Alaska and it was fabulous! At the time we talked about booking another one for Feb or April of 2009 but SOMEBODY got PG! Haha
Now we are looking at taking Liam on a cruise in the next few years- I would love to get a bunch of my family to take one from NY/NJ area to Bermuda. We have a few ppl who won't fly, so local is the way to go!
I hope you are able to get a group together! When we went to Alaska, there were several groups and families that we would see together on occasion, but they weren't glued together at the hip. I think it is a great idea- you can have dinner together and then see where your days take you!
