So I just called DH to tell him about locking the bathroom door and see what he said to do, if he had advice. And E starts hollaring in the background. She's been so cranky, cutting teeth, it's been a week from hell. So he's like "won't you just call me back later once you see about her." So I hung up on him. Does he think I'm NOT seeing about her? She's fussy, I can't fix it. I give her motrin and oragel and love, best I can do.
And it just annoys me that he doesn't offer to help with her ever, it's like he's doing me a favor is he's changing a diaper or something. Yeah, I'm a SAHM and I wouldn't change that for the world, but I NEVER get a break. It'd be different if we lived near my family because they would keep her sometimes just to give me a break. The only time his mom ever has anything to do with her is if someone else is around that she's trying to impress. Then she acts like grandmother of the year and it makes me want to shove my fist down her throat.
Anyway....sorry I just needed to vent, I need a night off, or a day to just go shop with my friends or something. I don't believe in constantly bringing her to a sitter, I love spending time with her. But sometimes I just need some "me" time and he doesn't get it.

Re: I just hung up on DH ~vent
well apparently he was at Lowe's, getting stuff for work. He stopped by and claims he didn't even hear Elise fussing, that he was annoyed with the cashier at Lowe's.
But I still informed him that I was going out to eat tonight with a friend and he is staying home with Elise.
I know how you feel, even with whitley so young, there's some days where I am with whitley from wake up to falling asleep. D doesnt understand how much the 15 or 20 minutes of soaking in the tub without a babe at my side means to me.
I'm sure you have tried it already, but have you tried the teething tablets? My pedi told me these are a blessing for teething and cutting teeth babes.. Hope it gets better soon hun.
we aren't doing the teething tablets, beware of those. They contain belladonnna, which is a poison. Both Elise's pediatrician and my cousin, who is a doctor told me to stay away from those.
