a little jealous of DH

he's at home sick today, and i'm not jealous of the sickness part, i'm jealous of the "i can call in if i'm legitimately sick and not feel like i'm in trouble" part... this is not good. every time i call in, i feel like my boss is totally annoyed and doesn't really want me to not be here, but if i am sick and i'm here, she says, "if you're not well enough to be here, go home." ugh.....

i hope she gets a promotion soon!

Re: a little jealous of DH

  • I understand that feeling.  I always feeling guilty when I dont go to work.
  • I always feel like I'm doing something wrong even when I'm legitimately sick and can't muster the energy to make it to the office. I like my job now because they actually sent out an email to the entire company that said if you're sick do not come in we do not want your germs here and my boss let's us work from home whenever we need/want to so at least I can still feel productive and work even if I'm home so I don't feel so bad. But I generally will come in the office sick for a day or two so that people can see I'm actually sick.
