AW: Cute Cookies!
Friday was my first day back to work after maternity leave, so I made cookies for the team. And if I have to say so myself, I think they turned out pretty darn cute!
I borrowed the snowman idea from a magazine I saw, I added the reindeer. Might as well make winter delicious! lol

Seriously easy. I cheated and used a Nutter Butter cookie as the base/shape. Then melted white chocolate for the snowmen and then melted a combo of peanut butter and chocolate chips for the reindeer. Covered the cookies, then decorated.
Heads up: the pretzels do not stay on well unless you use icing, or something, to make them stick. I tried just pushing them into the middle of the cookie, but they were too thick to fit between the layers. ;-)

How was your first day back?
It was ok. It was a Friday so I pretty much just started weeding my way through the few thousand emails waiting for me. Although I'll admit most of the day I spent chatting and catching up with people. LOL Oh - and I got to wear jeans. ;-)
