Generational Differences
My parents were up this past weekend and I was telling a story, when I said "WTF were they thinking." My mom nods in agreement and 5 mintues later says, I missed something, what does WTF mean, I thought I would figure it out in context. It wasn't what she said it was how she said it, struck me as so funny. She on the other hand was NOT amused.

At a family dinner about a year ago, David said something like "she needs to STFU..." while talking to his BIL, and an aunt over heard and said what does that mean. Quickly his dad jumped in, figuring it out in context, and said "hush up, it means hush up."
