This is what I want to shout at people when they are stupid.
Hunter is sick so I made an appointment to take him in to the doctor at 3:15. I let work 1.5 hours early. For the record, I am salaried, so some weeks I put in 40 hours, and some I put in 50 and some I put in 39. It balances.
Then one of my azzhat employees tells me that it "looks like the company is already cutting you breaks since you had a kid and all."
W.T.F. Seriously? This lady is well into her 60s and had the luxury of staying home with all of her children. I want to SLAP her. Very hard.

I know what you mean with the whole work extra some weeks and less others on a salary pay, but don't you get alloted "sick" days? If so, we always do partial sick days that cover the missed hours for work for dr. appts. So if this is the case, that lady is beyond stupid (even further beyond what she was for opening her mouth to begin with).
