Monday Morning--blahhh...how was everyone's weekend?
Too much snow! I have to drive to Melrose for a Dr. appointment this morning, and it is snowing out. I am dreading it now. I guess it is too late to cancel though.
My weekend was good. H and I went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner Sunday night. I took THREE classes at the gym this weekend with my BFF. I was always too shy to take a class (other then the private pilates and yoga classes I have taken at a studio) but since my BFF joined the gym she convinced me to try some classes with her! I still don't think I could go alone, but I am hoping I can work up to it.
Re: Monday Morning--blahhh...how was everyone's weekend?
Christa it's TUESDAY!!!
Weekend was good - very lazy and boring and I was actually kind of glad to get out of the house today. Hubs and I went to the Lowell Brewery for dinner on Friday and Sunday
. Friday was just us, Sunday was a spur-the-moment thing because my ILs stopped by. Yesterday I had to work, but because of the weather I worked from home.
ha ha ha ha Mrs T!!!! You are so right! Ha ha ha. Oh goodness.
I'm glad I didn't have to work yesterday. I am sore from all the sholving though; but glad I could do it in the afternoon and not before the sun came up.
It is snowing like crazy here in Cambridge right now. It is sticking on the "grass" but not really on the road. It looks beautiful though; the flakes are really big.
That's great that you've been going to classes, I have a hard time making myself go, but once I get to them I always feel like I work out harder. What kinds of classes are you doing? Cardio, Yoga, etc?
I did a class that was a mix of pilates and cardio, a yoga class, and Zumba. They were all really good. I am really excited about it.
I am so tired from the weekend. It was busy. I was so exhausted last night that I got home and crashed by about 8:30 and slept all night. I never do that!
I'm just glad this is a short week. I already can't wait until the weekend!
I worked yesterday so I'm feeling the mid-week blues already! I think the support group I run is going to be cancelled tonight due to weather-- that makes me kind of happy! The weekend was nice-- I was really busy! We cleaned & rearranged our furniture in both the bedroom & living room and had friends over for dinner on Saturday night. I'm exhausted!
We had a good weekend. We spent all day Saturday with friends and family--in the morning/afternoon we had a small GTG with some of my friends from high school and then had a great dinner at my parents' place that night.
Sunday we slept in, ran a few errands, then played volleyball at night. I played well, so I was happy.
Yesterday was my learn/practice knitting day, followed by the Celtics game at night with my sisters and dad.
I had a good weekend. It was nice and relaxing. Saturday I got my nails done and went to dinner with some friends.
Sunday I did an adoption event for the animal rescue. I thought it went really well with people showing interest, but no one filled out any applications.
Yesterday was our anniversary, but H worked an overnight Sunday night, so I just relaxed & cleaned all day until he woke up. We drank a lot of wine and went to dinner at the Oak Room. It was an awesome dinner! The food and service were amazing.
It was a good weekend. Saturday I went to lunch in CT with some friends- it was a business lunch, but still fun. Then DH and I went to the Dartmouth/UNH hockey game in Manchester with some old grad school friends we haven't seen in nearly a year, also fun.
Sunday we saw Avatar in Natick (after messing up our plans a lot- our friends couldn't come last minute, then we were late and decided to skip dinner and just see the earlier show), after hearing/reading many recs from friends to see it *in* the theater, in 3D. It was good, I liked just watching what was on the screen much better than the story (Fern Gully, anyone?), but it made me incredibly seasick!! And I don't normally get motion sickness.
Yesterday I lounged around all morning while trying to decide whether to go to work or not- I'd planned to, then it was so sleety and slippery, and it was a holiday anyway, but I finally did go in for a few hours... mostly so I could go shopping on my way home :-/ I spent my whole evening making candied grapefruit peel (not very successful) and crafting (great success) with my new finds from Michael's.?
