As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. u/s and we told our parents
In case any of you didn't see my update (it was in Busybride's post, below), we had the u/s on Fridya and saw the heartbeat. What a relief!
So, Friday night we went out to dinner with my parents for my mom's bday. Before we left, we gave my mom her present - it was a children's book called "My Grandma is Great". As soon as she opened it she looked at us and said "No! No way!! No way!!". She coudln't believe it. So, my parents were excited.
Then after dinner we told DH's parents to sign on to skype because we had a picture we were going to hang in our room that we wanted to show them. My MIL suspected something but my FIL convinced her she was wrong. So, we held the u/s picture up to the webcam and my MIL started screaming "I knew it!!!" They were very excited too.
Then we called my SIL and told her over the phone, and talked to our niece (who is 5) and she was very excited to be getting a cousin.
I also told my cousin and my godmother, and will be telling my college friends tonight (because I need to explain why I am not dancing in our alumni dance team performance!). And then that's it. No more telling people until after the first tri is over!
But it does feel nice to have it out in the open to at least some people. And it's nice not to have to pretend I am feeling great when I am around my parents. I got to just lounge around and be sick all weekend without having to fake feeling fine. It was good!
