iPhone Chargers

For most of my phones, I just order generic chargers from Ebay and have never had a problem with them.

However, DH ordered some chargers from Ebay for his iPhone and they don't work.

Anyone have an experience with generic charges and/or one they'd recomend? Or should we stick with Apple products only?

TIA!

Re: iPhone Chargers

  • Yay for iPhones!  DH had one for awhile, but I refuse to switch to Sprint.

I recommend sticking with Apple products.  They won't vaildate the warranty if you use anything other than Apple chargers.  Plus there are so many issues out there right now of off-brand chargers frying cell phones across the board.  I think its worth it for the price to protect the phone.

  • I would stick w/Apple products just because you never quite know what you're getting with a generic.  I know our experts here at work worry about people buying fake batteries/adapters because the right charging shut-off technology isn't built into fakes and can cause the battery to overheat/catch fire.
