Bpics with Leah

My friend is having bpics taken with Leah in a few weeks and she keeps stressing out about will she have time to touch up her make-up during the shoot, if her outfits are ok, what the 90 minute session will be like.  She really needs to chill - ha!

Anyways, can anyone share their experiences with me so I pass them along to her to ease her stressing.  TIA!!

Re: Bpics with Leah

  • There's a quote from me on her website under raves that you can show her that truly sums it up for me, but also, here's some thoughts on it...

1.) Don't stress.  It's so much fun!  For this reason, the time flies by!

2.) Try to go for a little more variety in color in terms of outfits.  I regretted this after the fact.  It seemed like I brought a million outfits, but they were all either black, white or pink.  Luckily I had a blue one to break things up a bit, which ended up being my favorite.

3.) I went for a very girlie Playboy/lingerie type of style and in retrospect, I kind of wished I had done a couple of shots in a jersey of a Philly team or Bri's fave team and maybe some in regular, yet sexy clothes.

4.) The only thing she should have to touch up is her lip gloss.

  • Tell her not to worry, she will have time to touch up her makeup.  I had a 90 minute session with her and changed outfits 6 times.  It's not rushed at all!  Relax and have fun Leah knows what she's doing and will take beautiful pics!

My only regret was the same as Natalee's #3. I was really anxious beforehand, so much so that I nearly passed out while getting my makeup done (Well, that and I had hardly eaten or drank anything that day in fear of being bloated). Honestly, I never touched up my makeup and it wasn't a problem. I think I ran a little over with time but Leah wasn't upset and didn't rush. Your friend has nothing to worry about. Leah made me feel at ease right away and the time flew by. It was a lot of fun and I'm really glad I did it.

  • Thanks ladies!!  I will definitely pass your advice to my friend.  Leah did my wedding pics so I've tried to tell her over and over how easy and relaxed she is to work with.  I know she just has the jitters and we'll be fine once the session starts :)
